Feeding

Our rabbits and kits are fed ADM PenPals Rabbit Formula 16%.

Kits (4 weeks) and young Jr.'s (16 weeks) and Nursing Does are free fed when the kits are old enough to eat until they leave mom. In the summer I give more fresh veggies and fruit. I have a garden that I planted for the rabbits. :)

Sr.'s are given pellets 1/2-3/4 cup per day and fresh veggies and fruit in the summer, and more hay with the pellets in the winter.

I do wait until the kits are at least 6 weeks before any veggies are introduced (I start with carrots and fresh greens) and then until about 16 weeks for any type of fruits (to avoid loose stools)
